Privacy Policy

AppDasper (“AppDasper”, “we”, “us”) provides mobile-market intelligence: charts, modeled download and revenue estimates, review analysis, keyword tracking and AI-assisted research tools for the Apple App Store and Google Play. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit appdasper.com or use the product, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.

This policy covers our website, web application, APIs and the emails we send. It does not cover third-party services we link to (for example the Apple App Store or Google Play themselves), which have their own policies.

We collect the minimum needed to run the product:

• Account data — name, email address, password hash (never the password itself), timezone and locale, and your authentication identifiers if you sign in with a third-party provider such as Google.
• Product configuration — your watchlists, tracked keywords, alert rules, report segments, saved searches, onboarding answers and workspace settings.
• Usage counters and quota data — counts of AI queries, API requests, exports and similar metered actions, kept to enforce your plan's limits.
• Billing metadata — your plan, subscription status, invoice references and country. Payments are processed by Polar (our merchant of record); we never see or store your card number or full payment credentials.
• Technical logs — IP address, browser type, requested pages and timestamps, kept for security, abuse prevention and debugging.
• Support communications — messages you send us, so we can answer them.

The market data you browse in AppDasper (charts, rankings, reviews, keywords) is data about apps and publishers, collected from public storefront surfaces — it is not personal data about you.

• To provide the service — authentication, rendering your workspace, running your watchlists, alerts and reports.
• To enforce plan limits and prevent abuse (quota counters, rate limits, fraud checks).
• To process subscriptions and send transactional email (receipts come from Polar; alerts and weekly briefs come from us and only for features you enable).
• To improve the product — aggregate, de-identified usage statistics. We do not sell personal data and we do not use your account data to train AI models.
• To comply with legal obligations and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

When you use AI features (analyst chat, scans, teardowns), we send only structured, platform-derived context — chart rows, estimate bands, clustered review text and your question — to our model provider to generate the answer. We do not send your name, email, billing details or account identifiers. AI outputs are generated from the dataset you can browse yourself and can be wrong; they are research assistance, not advice (see the Terms of Service).

If you voluntarily connect your own store performance data to improve our estimates, it is stored pseudonymized: data points carry only an HMAC-derived key, and no model or admin query joins them back to your identity. Revoking consent deletes every data point associated with your key. Participation never affects your plan or pricing.

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we process your data on these bases: performance of a contract (running your account and subscription), legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention, product analytics that do not override your rights), consent (optional programs like calibration, and any marketing email), and legal obligation (tax and accounting records).

We never sell personal data. We share it only with processors that run the service under contract, limited to what each needs:

• Hosting and infrastructure — application hosting, database, caching and error monitoring.
• Polar — payments and subscription management, as merchant of record.
• AI model providers — structured research context only, as described in section 4.
• Email delivery — for the transactional and product emails you enable.

We may disclose data if required by law, or as part of a merger or acquisition — in which case this policy continues to apply to data collected before the change.

Our infrastructure providers may process data in the United States and the European Union. Where data leaves your jurisdiction we rely on recognized safeguards such as standard contractual clauses implemented by our processors.

• Account and configuration data — for as long as your account exists; deleted or anonymized within 30 days of account deletion.
• Quota counters — for the billing periods they meter, then only in aggregate.
• Billing records — as long as tax and accounting law requires.
• Technical logs — up to 90 days, unless needed for an active security investigation.
• Calibration data — until you revoke consent or delete your account.

We use industry-standard measures: encryption in transit, hashed credentials, scoped API keys, least-privilege access to production systems and audit logging of administrative actions. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your personal data we will notify you as the law requires.

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can exercise most of these directly in Settings (profile, data export, account deletion) or by emailing us. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

We use strictly necessary cookies for sign-in sessions and security. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on the product.

AppDasper is a professional tool and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children; if you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced in the product or by email before they take effect. The “last updated” date below always reflects the current version.
